Yes, that was nearly 60 years ago ... now look at the present-day philosophy of most GOP platforms.  Any of if back then sound familiar today? Yes, it happened a long time ago and yes, things do change. but this dramatically - that's a horse, or in this case, an elephant of a different color.

Seems the GOP got hijacked on the search for reality.
