GOP House Intelligence Committee Quitting: Nyet “Collusion” They Will Proclaim

Major Update from this All GOP-run Government (March 12, 2018): 

(CNN) – The House Intelligence Committee has concluded its interviews for the investigation into possible collusion between Trump's campaign operation and Russia – a move that signals the beginning of the end for the panel's Russia probe, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) is leading the Russia investigation (took over from the lying conniving Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), and he announced that the committee has concluded its interviews and will now be moving onto writing a final report summarizing its findings.

Highlights: Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said: “To me, I don't see anything else that's out there that hasn't been explored.”

However, Democrats say the committee has raced through its final interviews, while allowing witnesses to pick and choose which questions they answer.

For example: The committee issued a subpoena to former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon in January, but in his return testimony he still did not answer questions about his time in the White House.

Democrats also sought subpoenas for the committee's last two witnesses, outgoing White House communications director Hope Hicks and Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, but Republicans did not issue them.

Rep. Adam Schiff (R-CA) and the ranking DEM said after the Lewandowski interview recently: “There are a number of steps that I think any credible investigator would say, 'These need to be done,' and we still hope that they will be.”  

There are still two committees in the Senate that are investigating Russia's 2016 election meddling:

(1) The Senate Intelligence

(2) The Senate Judiciary Committee

However, only the Senate Committee appears to be pushing forward at full speed, and is preparing to put out recommendations and hold a hearing on election security later this month.

The Senate Chairman Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) has said he's separating out the election security issues for the 2018 primary season while the committee continues to investigate questions about collusion and the 2016 election.

Meanwhile, the Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is preparing to release transcripts of the committee's interviews with participants of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting — a potential sign the committee is done investigating that matter.

My Conclusion on this Yet Unresolved Collusion: S/C Robert Mueller however is NOT done … his report, I wager, will be a barn burner.

In my opinion Mueller's report will shock the nation and at our very core. Hopefully it also will shock us back to some sort of reality and into action. But, as far as this all GOP-run Congress is concerned, and as noted by all their actions to date – who in the hell knows what they would do or try to do. 

But, this case should prove in the end whom this GOP truly and honestly serves and stands with — I suspect there will be plenty of surprises and fancy tap dancing.

Stay tuned even as this wimpy house committee wraps up for we still have a long way to go.
