Petition drive to dissolve the United States. The Enemy is Within. The Worst Kind

The news hitting the airwaves all over:

People from multiple states, including North Carolina, are petitioning the United States for the right to withdraw from the U.S.and create a new government. The petitions popped up on the "We the People" page on the official White House website after last Tuesday’s election.

The North Carolina petition, created by Randy Dye, of Pittsboro, has 9,398 electronic signatures as of Monday night, according to the website.  Many of the states represented as states that have tried to secede before and include former Confederate states like Alabama (9,180 signatures), South Carolina (5,863) and Mississippi (6,520). Recall that the Confederacy seceded in 1861 and returned to the Union after losing the four-year Civil War.

There are also petitions from Arizona, Montana and even New York (6,038 signatures).  According to the White House website, "We the People" provides a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country. We created it because we want to hear from you it says.
