GOP Dirty Tricks: Hate the Results, Hide the Facts

GOP Senate Minority "Leader" Sen. Mitch "Mr. Peepers" McConnell (R-KY)

After this update: "Nonpartisan Tax Report Withdrawn After GOP Protest"  by JONATHAN WEISMAN (New York Times)

The original story follows:
"After pressure from the GOP, a non-partisan congressional agency (the CRS) withdrew a report that found tax cuts for the rich don’t spur economic growth and instead worsen inequality."

"Staffers tell MSNBC.com they’re up in arms over the move. Top Democrats want answers."

“The Republicans have been pushing this argument that the top marginal tax rate has this huge effect on economic growth … and there’s just no evidence of that,” said one agency analyst, adding that the decision to disavow the report “wasn’t about substance, it was about politics.”

"The New York Times reported that after pressure from the office of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, CRS had withdrawn the report, although it remains available online."

This is pretty bad. GOP wants to make an official report fit their agenda, road map, ideology, political philosophy, or campaign BS, and thus disregard facts?

They don't like the results - so, change or stop the report.
