NRA and GOP Again Traveling Phoney Attack Road: Hide Your Guns

“It’s Alive, It’s Alive, It’s Alive ...”

Insanity Run Amok in America

This Image Speaks for Itself

The Trumpettes are on the wrong side of history on the following two issues: (1) DEMS will take our guns, and (2) this election is rigged.

Once again they cling to the old notion with plenty of fear included about “losing our guns if Hillary Clinton wins, just they said when Mr. Obama took our guns when he took office (January 20, 2009…” So, how’d that work out?

How about one huge, huge Rick Perry style “oops” right about now?

The images above dispute the NRA and rightwing lies about losing their guns. It didn’t happen, it is not happening, and it will not happen but don’t tell the NRA that – they are too busy peddling the gain more membership and prop up the gun lobby and manufacturers.

Then the other bogus issue: Election fraud and vote rigging.

By Andy Sullivan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. Federal judge in Ohio ordered Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign on Friday not to intimidate voters as voting-rights advocates scored a string of last-minute victories in several politically competitive states.

The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge James Gwin creates the possibility of fines or jail time for Trump allies who harass voters, a significant victory for Democrats who had worried the real-estate mogul was encouraging supporters to cause mayhem at the polls on November 8.

The ruling also deals a blow to a Trump-aligned “exit poll that seeks to mobilize thousands of supporters.”

The Trump campaign appealed this decision.

Trump keeps on warning, as he has all along, that this election may be (or is) rigged and he has called on supporters to keep an eye on voting activity for possible signs of fraud in large cities.

Democrats have launched a legal blitz in Ohio and five other battleground states to prevent that from happening. They are also trying to stop a paramilitary group, the Oath Keepers, from conducting its own monitoring operation.

NOTE: Numerous studies (e.g., The Brennan Center at NYU) have found that U.S. voter fraud is exceedingly rare and especially voter ID fraud.

Thanks for stopping by. The 2016 election campaigns are just ending, but this gun issue campaign and voter fraud nonsense is restarting – again – bet on it.
