Pop Quiz the Biggest Liar: Donald J. Trump or Devin G. Nunes Probably Equal

Textbook description of Trump – Unprecedented in
American History

Confidant and Crony for Trump but Not the Public

Introduction to Trump’s documented trail of 2,000 lies in his first year in office: Two biggies are here as prime examples of two of the biggest broken promises:

1. He told people he’d cut our taxes and that the super-rich like him would pay more. People bought it.
But his new tax law does the opposite. By 2027, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, the richest 1 percent will have got 83 percent of the tax cut and the richest 0.1 percent, 60 percent of it. But more than half of all Americans — 53 percent — will pay more in taxes. As Trump told his wealthy friends at Mar-a-Lago just days after the tax bill became law: “You all just got a lot richer.”

2. He promised to close special interest loopholes.
Those loopholes he said “have been so good for Wall Street investors but unfair to American workers, and especially the notorious carried interest” loophole for private-equity, hedge fund, and real estate partners. People bought that line, too, but the new tax law keeps the “carried interest” loophole.

Here are the other 18 of biggest 20 broken promises from a very smart man (Robert Reich) >>> 20 of Trump's Biggest Broken Promises.

Those 2,000 lies that are related to Trump are very detailed from the Washington Post here >>> Analysis | President Trump has made more than 2,000 false or misleading claims over 355 days

And his last documented lie: #2,000 here from Esquire magazine >>> Here's Trump's 2,000th Lie in Office.

My 2 cents: How low have we sunk as a nation to tolerate this – if it were anyone else other than Trump at this same point in time, the public would be bonkers demanding he resign or be impeached.

But, Trump loyalists still hate Hilary Clinton and the DEMS so much that they are willing to overlook Trump lies on a daily – sometimes many each day.

As I said, this is unprecedented in American history by any standard, and worse is the GOP and their hypocrisy about it.

Thanks for stopping by.
