Trump's White Power: Attempted Lynching in Bloomington, IN Caught on Video Tape

Dateline: Bloomington, IN.

The city mayor responds to news of “attempted lynching” of man he knew – the man in question posted a video that shows the man, Vauhxx Booker, a Black man, pinned to a tree in what he calls an “attempted lynching at Lake Monroe right outside of Bloomington.”

Anyone watching the video can see and hear clearly that it shows a group of white men holding Booker to a tree as his friends plead with them to release him.

In the video, one man shouts at the camera person: “You happy about this, you nappy-headed bitch? You and your five white friends?”

Mayor John Hamilton says he's known Booker for 5 years and concedes that even in his relatively liberal city, home to Indiana University, racism persists within and around the community, and now Indiana authorities are investigating the incident.

On his Facebook page, Booker wrote: “I don’t want to recount this, but I was almost the victim of an attempted lynching. On July 4th evening others and me were victims of what I would describe as a hate crime. I was attacked by five white men [with Confederate flags] who literally threatened to lynch me in front of numerous witnesses.”

Some of the white men became belligerent, and a confrontation escalated.

As Booker’s friends leave, one of the men follows, shouting: “Those Black boys want to start it all.” 

Also, in his Facebook post, Booker claimed there were shouts of “get a noose and white power.” He said he was released after several white strangers intervened. He said he suffered bruises, abrasions and a “minor concussion” in the incident.

My 2 cents: Very troubling story to say the least.

So, who in American still says racism is not alive and well. Well, just white radicals like racists in this story who say that’s a lie (we're not racists - we're patriots saving our country).

Apparently, they follow the Trump model. That is, when caught flatfooted, duck, dodge, and deny everything.
