Trump final instructions to rioters: Fight like Hell
(His January 6 Capitol ellipse speech)

Excellent 11-minute video events and planning leading up to the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection here from MSNBC Hosted by Ari Melber, who BTW has a law degree from Cornell and practiced law, with this headline:

“See the smoking gun that might get Trump indicted: GOP RNC chief linked him to ‘crime’ phone call”

The January 6th Report reveals eyewitness account against Trump

The Republicans’ evolving positions vis-à-vis the January 6 select committee work and final report showed how Trump and many of them came out (and remain so today) against the committee and final report. Trump and any of them were against the panel from day one calling it a “Democrat trap.”

Many congressional Republicans remain loyal to the former president, even after he told his supporters on that day in his January 6 speech at the Capitol ellipse to go “fight like hell” by marching to the Capitol as Congress would be working to certify Joe Biden’s 2020 win.

The rioters obeyed Trump and attacked the Capitol as they brutally beat police officers and broke into the Capitol through windows and doors, sending Republicans and Democrats alike running for their lives.

FYI: The January 6 House Special committee allege violations of four criminal statutes by Trump, in both the run-up to the riot and during the insurrection itself, and it recommended four charges against the former president for prosecution to the DOJ. From PBS the four charges are: (1) Conspiracy to defraud the United States, (2) Obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, (3) Conspiracy to make a false statement, and (4) Aiding an insurrection (see the slide below as the most-serious in my view).

Charge #4: Perhaps the most-serious of the four

My 2 Cents: While most Republicans condemned the rioters that day and many criticized Trump for his role in it, many Republicans also have begun to downplay the violence (e.g., McConnell and McCarthy two main GOP leaders).

We need a full accounting of that horrible day which could have been much worse had the rioters been heavily armed with bombs and such.

Now as seen in the January 6 committee final report after their great public hearings prove it all was Trump’s plan all along and beyond any reasonable doubt.

Now the above lays it out in simple easy to comprehend steps that shows Trump is truly guilty and was the main planner.

Now he must pay.

Thanks for stopping by.
