GOP Gov. DeSantis: Signs Bill Allowing Concealed Permit-Less Guns as NRA Cheers

DeSantis signs concealed permit-less gun law
(As NRA Reps look on)

FL 26th State allowing concealed permit-less guns
(NE Legislature may become 27th State)

DeSantis twice in a short time span shows his total ignorance about gun and the mayhem we are now facing based on this headline story from NBC News:

“Behind Closed Doors DeSantis Quietly Turns U.S. into Majority Permit-less Gun Carrying Nation”

Early Monday afternoon the United States became a majority permit- less gun carry country, as Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) signed into law a bill quickly passed through the legislature with little time for pushback.

Related story from the New Civil Rights Movement (NCRM) from Louisville, KY with this concerning headline story:

“Louisville Becomes 146th Mass Shooting in Just 100 Days This Year – KY Dem Governor Says Two Victims Were His Friends”

DeSantis frequently holds press conferences and bill signings, often at schools, often surrounded by little children as he tries to advance his “parents’ rights campaign” issues.

But on Monday, DeSantis, who many are expecting to formally announce a White House run soon, shunned the cameras and the kids, opting for a quiet, closed-door signing. However, a tweet from the NRA shows DeSantis signing the bill surrounded by some of their “representatives” (unidentified & standing behind him in the photo).

Meanwhile, the DNC Chairman, Jaime Harrison, accused DeSantis of: “Standing shoulder to shoulder with the NRA, which was invited to the signing.”

The signing comes exactly one-week of the Nashville school mass shooting, where three 9-year olds and three adults were killed by an armed shooter. Those three children were about the same school age of DeSantis’ children – who he often surrounds himself with at various signing. All six were shot with assault rifles carried by a woman who is alleged to have been a former student there years ago.

One NRA executive said in a statement to FOX News: The NRA applauds Florida for becoming the 26th state to adopt the vital Constitutional Carry legislation. This NRA-spearheaded initiative empowers Floridians to exercise their Second Amendment rights without undue bureaucratic barriers, affirming the fundamental right to self-defense.”

FOX News went on explain:There were already 25 states that had permit-less or “constitutional carry’ laws on the books” meaning FL has now tipped the U.S. into becoming a constitutional carry-majority nation.”

Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), the anti-gun violence organization that she founded after she was shot in the head and nearly died along with 18 other people on January 8, 2011 during a constituent meeting in a supermarket parking lot in Casas Adobes, AZ in the Tucson metro area in an assassination attempt slammed DeSantis, saying:Governor DeSantis just signed permit-less carry into law behind closed doors, probably because he knows it’s dangerous & unpopular. This bill was rushed through the legislature—and DeSantis signed it quietly with the NRA’s support and against Floridians’ wishes.”

The Hillsborough County, FL State Attorney Andrew Warren also blasted this DeSantis move.

My 2 Cents: This shows another opportunity for DeSantis to showcase this vast array of cultural changing laws and such in FL – but, this one is the sickest of all but ranks up there with his other wild ideas saying his bills give parents more freedom.

Except now every parent who drops off their child at school will have to wonder “who is now armed and ready to enter the school with a concealed permit-less AR-15.

This act alone show another reason why Ron DeSantis should ever be the White House for any kind of gun policy.

In short the man is deep in the NRA’s pocket or should I say deep in their purse. Pitiful man, too.

Thanks for stopping by.
