Tax Bennies for Job Creators — GOP Ready to Oblige (Again)

It Happened Twice Before. It Could Happen Again ...

Follow the links below and then take the subject one step further: Imagine the GOP gaining total control of DC in 2014 after the midterms. That is, they keep the House and take over the Senate. That should be a very scary scenario for everyone.

Several key questions many of us have been asking since the near total economic meltdown in 2008 meltdown are from the first link here:

1.  Why are only the rich getting richer at the same time?

2.  Why has the middle class been stuck in 2nd gear for such a very long time?

and

3.  Why are corporate profits again back at all-time highs while working wages remain stuck at an all-time lows (as a share of GDP)?

We can blame globalization and rapid development of information technology, but two new studies confirm what many of us have known ever since Obama came into office. That is this:

Conservative policies are rapidly shrinking the middle class and engineering a massive transfer of wealth the richest Americans, as they fund more and more GOP runs and lobby for more subsidies, tax breaks, and the status quo basically.

The summary from the second link, the National Memo, written by David Cay Johnston, a very smart man on this subject, is simple: Inequality is a product of government policy.

My Point: Government policies should not favor any one group at the expense of or to the detriment of any any other group. But, hey, the GOP doesn't see it that way.
