Sen. Cruz (R-TX) to Introduce His Energy Plan Bill
Oh, boy, welcome to the Cruz energy plan.
Sen. Ted Cruz announced that he plans to introduce an
omnibus energy bill that will focus on scaling down regulation and scaling up production in the oil and gas
industry.
Speaking at the Heritage Action for America’s Conservative
Policy Summit in Washington, DC, Cruz said he was introducing the “American
Energy Renaissance Act” to stop the federal government from preventing
America’s “energy renaissance” — which he says is the ability for producers to
access underground natural gas and oil stores that Cruz labeled as a
“providential blessing” for the country.
His plan and the 6
Ways it would increase carbon pollution are listed here.
In his last comment during that Heritage presentation, he
implies that more pollution is secondary, or simply dead last for him and the
GOP I would add, to get more energy as quickly as possible from Mother Earth
and to hell with pollution shows not only how really dumb that view, but how
goofy Ted Cruz is. Let's face, Harvard grads can really be dumb-asses, too.
Cruz is a prime example.
His concluding statement: “There remains considerable
uncertainty about what is causing climate change (and then noting how
cold DC has been concluded), Al Gore told us this wouldn’t happen.”
Just yuking it up, right Senator? Give me a break.
