First up are the crazies at the top of this heap of madness: Their story from here with video, the intro: 

Last week, Texas open carry laws became a hot topic after Chipotle issued a statement requesting that customers not bring their weapons into the restaurant, while maintaining that they respect local laws on the matter. That soft policy was brought about in response to a demonstration by groups like Open Carry Texas, who photographed themselves carrying rifles into the burrito shop.

Mother Jones posted a video showing the open carry group attempting to demonstrate their ability to carry firearms into a Texas Sonic and Chili’s franchise. They were met with a mix of “nervous and angry responses,” as MoJo describes it, and it begs the question of whether these sorts of provocations are really helpful for the debate over open carry laws.

Both videos themselves were filmed by the open carry activists, but were later removed. 

Mother Jones obtained them eventually and published them on their website (here). 

Now the craziest of the crazy and yes, Joe the Plumber and he sought a Congressional House seat in 2012, but lost (thank goodness). Joe the Plumber’s motto for his next race: “Crazy as Hell and Don’t Give a Damn.”
