Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump-Kushner will be stripped of their unfettered access to government secrets, such as the President’s Daily Brief (PDB), unless Trump overrides Kelly’s decision to limit their FBI not yet totally cleared background checks.

What we see is CoS John Kelly saying: “It’s me or Jared.” 

The rule change could be especially crippling for Kushner, whose main briefs are the ME and China policy. It’s unclear how Kushner could continue to perform his job without access to all classified data. Recently, both Jared and Ivanka have been waging a multi-pronged counter-offensive to protect their access to classified intelligence and information.

A friend of the couple is reported to have said to the Vanity Fair reporter: “Jared is fighting back. And Ivanka is fighting for her life.” That same friend said: “Kushner once described Kelly as “worse than Priebus, and now Jared is fighting hard on this. He’s having people weigh in against Kelly.”

My 2 cents: Folks, this is a very serious and lousy deal to say the least.

Recall that Trump once pledged: “I will hire only the finest, the best people ever, believe me”

All I can say about that is: “Yeah, Dingbat Donald, sure you only hired the best and finest ever.” Oh, BTW: We don’t believe a damn word you ever say.
