One of the biggest GOP BS artists on the planet; one who every time he opens his mouth spews what the righties want to hear. But, he makes zero sense if one listens closely, which most righties are prone not to do (listen closely). Extract from his 2012 CPAC speech (February 9, 2012) in Washington, DC:
First off, there was two Rubio's: (1) The one who hovers at 10 percent job approval rating along with the entire Congress, who was elegant in his style to highlight his own success while distancing him from an institution many Americans associate with gridlock and dysfunction, and (2) the angry Rubio, typical conservative provocateur, ripping President Obama for engaging in class warfare, which in my view is the GOP's pastime. [This extract was snagged taken from the Christian Science Monitor].
This from Roll Call in part, also from Rubio:
“Looks like he’s a really good father, looks like he’s a really good husband, but he is a terrible president.”
On the economy, Rubio argued that, “Everything got worse, so he (Obama) cannot run on his record.”
“What we have seen is unprecedented in American history. ... We are led by a president who has decided to pit Americans against each other, (which is a decision Rubio said) that was a calculated effort to win the election.”
“That’s the kind of thought process that people come here to get away from. And it’s never worked anywhere it has been tried."
On Medicare, Rubio was equally as critical, arguing, “His plan is to wait for a Republican like [Budget Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin] to offer a plan, and then attack him.”
Then Rubio took the White House to task over the administration’s new contraception insurance policy, which has angered Catholic leaders, saying the administration was “ordering religious institutions to follow his ideas.”
My assessment: He is lying weasel and top award winner so far this month.
