I prefer to rename his book to: “The Art of the Con.”
Background on him is all over
the net. Do the research to things in his own words and statements, and those blasted tweets at 5 am.
As you read the links below, keep his quote above: “You can't con
people at least not for long.” Um, well, you see that implies that short-term cons are okay and
certainly that is how he operates and has for decades.
GOP (FL) Sen. Marco
Rubio once called Trump a “con-artist”
during the GOP primary campaign season, and he never backed down.
Then recall this from former NYC Mayor Michael
Bloomberg speaking at the 2016 DEM CONVENTION, in part:
“I’m a New Yorker, and New Yorkers know a con when we see one! Trump
says he’ll punish manufacturers that move to Mexico or China, but the clothes
he sells are made overseas in low-wage factories. He says he wants to put
Americans back to work, but he games the US visa system so he can hire
temporary foreign workers at low wages. He says he wants to deport 11 million
undocumented people, but he seems to have no problem in hiring them. What’d I miss here?”
And then further this analysis and a darn good read – check it out and then see how apropos it is today.
Folks, we have been had.
