“Man in the Middle” favors one over the other
(Guess who he favors most)
I am sick and tired of the GOP's Obama bashing led by the man in the middle with his constant BS conspiracy tweets and false statements in his effort to erase Mr. Obama from the pages of presidential history. So, for the record this review might be timely:
Obama vs. Putin and the facts that counter Trump and many GOPer
Obama vs. Putin and the facts that counter Trump and many GOPer
“alternative facts (from Conway)” or now “truth isn't truth (from Giuliani).” Not
long after Election 2016, questions
were raised about the possibility of Russia
impacting the race.
An early CIA report revealed that not only did Russia hack the election, but that they did so with the intention of hurting Clinton and helping Trump. Within days, the FBI and the Obama administration both confirmed the report, while Trump and his transition team denied any wrongdoing. And, we have seen a lot of that from the Trump team ever since.

Russia has also pushed back at the allegations, but as
reported by The New York Times on December 29, 2016
that Obama is putting his foot down during his last month in office,
In one of the most crippling sanctions the United
States has put on Russia, President Obama has expelled “35 Russian
intelligence operatives from the United States and imposing sanctions on
Russia’s two leading intelligence services.”
Including in that ejection were “four
top officers of the military intelligence unit the White House believes ordered
the attacks.”
Not only are
the sanctions a negative for Russia, but also for President-elect Donald
Trump. The New York Times describes the sanctions as being “intended to box in”
Trump, who has long praised Russian President Vladimir Putin, while denying
their involvement in the hacking.
Trump continues
to put blame the interference on nearly everyone but Russia, even saying it
could be a “400-pound guy in the basement” and some other deflecting wild
excuse.
Moving forward under Trump: The dilemma for Donald Trump remains
as to whether or not he will lift the sanctions on Russia and not play around the
edges? Will he keep pushing to end the several bi-partisan Congressional
investigations? And, of course, his biggest push is to shut down the Mueller
probe?
My 2 cents: As expected Trump was not pleased with Obama’s
actions, policies, or even his existence as a man on Earth (e.g., his birth
certificate ranting), then even about his college records – both that still haunt
and motivate Trump into “erasing everything Obama.”
What a pitiful, horrible president – and shame on us
for it and worse, keeping him in power this long.
Thanks for stopping by.
