Trump’s impeachment trial legal team, now joined by MichaelVan Der Veen, sold the premise that Trump’s “free speech is protected and was
not a reason to be part of the impeachment farce.”
That team argued that the DEM managers used fake video and
clipped sound bites all the while that is precisely what they did emphasizing words like “fight” and “fight like hell” that applied to both sides as
protected speech.
Words do matter depending on the context and purpose – make no
mistake about that in that horrible day’s outcome.

My 2 cents: Will that and
the DEM presentation carry any weight or will the Trump defense team prevail –
we will soon find out.
