Rep. Comer (R-KY): Pushing Disinformation that Joe Biden Heads Criminal Cabal

Comer is choking on a nothing-burger

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) again seeks to see the entire Biden family from top to bottom indicted as a “crime family.” 

Comer is disgusting and truly a joke hunting for evidence to nail the Biden “crime family” but guess what? There ain’t no there, there.

This latest update is from NEWSWEEK with this headline:

“More Biden Family Bank Records Reveal Suspicious Wires, James Comer Says”

But guess what – this new key faux pas from Comer (as usual with no evidence or proof against President Biden): The House Oversight Committee's investigation into the Biden family's business dealings “hopes to reveal bank records that show more suspicious wires from our enemies around the world that were going into the Biden family's back pocket” that according to Comer. Comer made this latest claim during a Fox News appearance in which he said: “The number of laws that have been broken by the Biden family is staggering” (and right in step with all his other BS lies) but, without explicitly stating which laws he was referring to.

Comer’s second faux pas relates to the Devon Archer transcript (141 pages) as the DEMS respond:

The transcripts appear to back up Democrats, including Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Dan Goldman (D-NY) who have argued that Comer’s investigation into the Biden’s has revealed no direct evidence that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s business dealings, was influenced by them or broke the law.

Raskin, the top Democrat on the Oversight panel and a constitutional professor, said in a statement: “Once again, Republicans’ priority investigation into President Biden has failed to produce any evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden. On Monday, Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business associate, confirmed in a transcribed interview that President Biden was never involved in Hunter’s business dealings, never profited from such dealings, and never took official action in relation to these business dealings. The transcript released today shows the extent to which Congressional Republicans are willing to distort, twist, and manipulate the facts presented by their own witness just to keep fueling the far-right media’s obsession with fabricating wrongdoing by President Biden in a desperate effort to distract from Donald Trump’s third indictment and the overwhelming evidence of his persistent efforts to undermine American democracy.”

At one point in the deposition, Archer’s attorney wanted him to clarify several points he made earlier about the limitations of his knowledge about Joe Biden asking him: “It is still true that you are not aware that Hunter Biden ever discussed policy with his father, discussed business with his father, influenced American policy for purposes of his business or otherwise caused the Vice President or asked the Vice President to do anything improper, right?”

Archer replied: “That’s my understanding, yes.”

If the Justice Department is right, Comer’s whistleblower behaved in exactly the way Comer accuses Biden of acting.

Here’s your “law and order” GOP party at work today. 

House Republicans like to refer to the “Biden crime family.” They claim to be in possession of evidence of criminal wrongdoing, like secret Biden bank accounts that were set up to hide the numerous bribes they say Joe Biden has taken from foreigners. They claim all kinds of stuff. 

We should not rule out the possibility, however remote, that this proof exists, even as Comer says over and over: “I hope so.” 

But we have the right to come to certain conclusions based on what they’ve shown us so far, half-a-year-plus into their majority. It’s been a complete and total clown show now culminating again today starting with the GOP’s whistleblower literally being a fugitive.

That whistleblower was Gal Luft, whom Comer built considerable drama in recent weeks. Comer repeatedly told Fox News and The Hill reporters that he had a guy who had the goods on “Capo di Tutti Capi Biden” (mafia slang for boss) but was being silenced by those crazy Marxists over at the FBI. 

Well, then news broke that Luft was indicted for acting as an unregistered agent for China, trying to do various arms deals, including to Iran (in violation of U.S. sanctions), and more. 

Luft was indicted and now is literally a fugitive from justice, and he has lived outside the United States since November 2017.

My 2 Cents: My bottom line all along has been and Comer himself seems to prove my contention – there ain’t no there, there, so Mr. Comer, get lost totally for surely you are now 100%.

All these accusations against President Biden w/o any proof and even Comer saying at one time: “We don’t need a Special Counsel.”

But, boy oh boy, do this Trump owned and operated GOP have the spin and message albeit totally off the rails seeking revenge for Trump as he sets new political records while in office and now since leaving office: two impeachments; three major Federal indictments, and a fourth pending in GA for the highest crimes of all time. 

Yet the GOP sticks by him some 80%? How pathetic is that?
